So I’ve mentioned the latest issue of Timbuktu Magazine before, but here are a few spots from the article I illustrated.
There are plenty more if you’re interested to check the app out. If you have an iPad, go and have a download. It’s on me (It’s not really on me. It’s free. I’m cheating.)
Technology!
So here’s a high energy trailer to what’s in store for the Night Issue of Timbuktu Magazine! Check all the motiony goodness and if you stay until the end Samuel Jackson in an eye patch makes a cameo (not really, but you do get to see a bit of my cover design…basically as rewarding).
The new issue of the awesomely awesome Timbuktu magazine is out now! And by “out now” I mean it’s available for download on le iTune Store…which I suppose still means it’s out now.
Aaaaaanyways, I had the great honour of illustrating the interactive cover (and a bonus article of which I will reveal later)! If you’re looking for a super rad children’s magazine of the iPad persuasion, do take a look.
Alright that’s it. Have a great weekend!
So since it’s June and the latest issue of Monocle is out (or will be out shortly for us North American folk) I figured it’s cool beans to show the first of a set of illustrations I did about the potential rise of Brazil as a global superpower.
It’s a great read and well worth the time.
Last one, ladies and gentlemen. Babysitting your siblings. You always gotta watch the middle child. They’re always up to something…
Anyways, there you have it!
Aaaaaaand number 5! Preteens connecting with other kids’ parents. My gosh!
Whoops. Dropped the ball on uploading these on the weekend. Here’s 4 of 6. Yay teamwork!
Half way mark. Chicken pox parties, you gotta love them (or at least drawing them, as I do). While I could never pick a favourite, I do have to admit that I’m really happy with how this one turned out. I suppose I just like the opportunity to draw floating heads.
Number 2 of 6! Slowly getting into the older age groups. I had a lot of fun making the building block patterns.
The first of a 6 image series featured in the April issue of Canadian Family magazine! Be sure to check back for the others as I’ll be uploading them throughout the week. And man do I love drawing dinosaur puppets.
