Hey! Remember how much fun the 33.3 Art Show was? Well like any good record, we’re going back for another listen.

The second iteration of the wonderfully curated event is happening this Sunday, November 13th in Iowa (More details here).

My contribution was a bit more contemporary than my last effort. With Sleigh Bells’ Treats, I wanted to keep the content of the original cover, but infuse it with a bit more of the album’s spirit (or what I took to be the spirit: the lovechild of Thor, god of thunder, and Mary Ann, girl next door from Gilligan’s Island). SO MUCH ENERGY!!!!

Well since the 33.3 Art Show website is fully functional, I suppose it’s time to post my submission! Oh The Beach Boys, how I love thee. And thanks to Drawn for blogging it!
