Let’s do this!
Last one. Last of the Irrational Fears and I really appreciate you letting me vet my worrying ways AND for those who shared their equally terrifying horrors.
But I digress. This last one is fairly appropriate as the springtime brings many a danger. My fear of blackbirds started when I lived in Australia.
If you don’t know what magpies are, they’re basically the devil incarnate. Terrifying birds that swoop at you to protect their nest and drawing blood any chance they get! They’re MONSTERS!
Fast forward three years later and I’m back in Canada but now in Vancouver. Hey everything is going swimmingly and I like to take my morning runs through a nice little park. A park where children play and seniors stroll. This was a park of terror.
CROWS AND RAVENS EVERYWHERE! They were having NONE Of my presence and would swoop like I’d set up an omelet stand in front of their nests.
Anyways, I think I watched The Birds too early.
